Welcome

Kenyon Bonner, Director of Student LifeWelcome to Student Life! The Office of Student Life is a department within the Division of Student Affairs and is the hub of student involvement and engagement at the University of Pittsburgh.

College students spend the majority of their time outside the classroom and the Student Life Web site highlights the many opportunities available for Pitt students to spend that time finding their niche. Within Student Life, there are literally hundreds of options for student involvement ranging from student media, community service, student employment, and peer mentoring to various types of student organizations including student government, club sports, all-campus programming, and other student activities.

Student Life also provides unique services and programs to students including those specialized for commuter and first-year students, and the coordination of student volunteerism and community service. In collaboration with the Office of Cross Cultural and Leadership Development, Student Life offers students the opportunities for personal, organizational and civic leadership develpment. Student Life is also home to our award winning student radio station and newspaper, WPTS-FM and The Pitt News.

Whatever your passion, Student Life encourages all students to become actively and meaningfully engaged in the Pitt community!
